Differences Between 2019 Chevrolet Malibu & 2019 Chevrolet Cruze
Serving Serving Columbus, OH, Louisville, KY, and Springfield, OH
Some customers prefer to have something practical, which is why a four-door sedan that is neither too large nor too small works for them. To this end, Chevrolet provides the Malibu and the Cruze, which, size-wise, occupy the middle tier of its car lineup. The Malibu is made and marketed as a midsize sedan while the Cruze is a smaller, compact one. For 2019, both cars get major updates as they reach the midpoint of their respective production cycles (ninth for the Malibu and second for the Cruze). On either vehicle, you can expect the following:
Interior
On both the 2019 Chevrolet Malibu and 2019 Chevrolet Cruze, the seats are spacious, thus giving occupants—up to five—lots of room to shift and adjust for maximizing their comfortability levels. Also spacious is the amount of space; the Malibu provides 102.9 cubic feet of passenger space and 15.7 cubic feet of cargo space, and if you go with the hatchback version of the Cruze, you’ll get up to 47.2 cubic feet of cargo space, which is more than most compact cars for this model year.
Infotainment
On either the 2019 Malibu or 2019 Cruze, the infotainment system is extremely easy to use. In the past, Chevrolet provided the long-standing MyLink interface, which provides a touchscreen that responds quickly to inputs and comes with several physical controls and knobs that are easy to reach and operate. Now, both the Malibu and Cruze use the brand-new Infotainment 3 interface, which might not be as familiar to buyers but eliminates any worries at all by retaining ease of use with a quick response and simple menu layout.
Standard Features/h3>
Both Chevrolet vehicles are handsomely equipped, even at base trim level. You can expect standard features such as remote keyless entry, a driver information center, six-speaker audio, Bluetooth wireless technology for hands-free phone calling and audio streaming, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for smartphone integration, voice command technology, the aforementioned Chevrolet Infotainment 3, and a 7-inch (Cruze) or an 8-inch (Malibu) color touchscreen. For safety, both vehicles come with features such as a rearview camera, StabiliTrak (for electronic vehicle stability control and traction control), an anti-lock braking system, Teen Driver mode for encouraging better driving habits from teenagers, daytime running lights, a theft-deterrent system, and 10 airbags.
